Stimulation Clicker is getting all sorts of press, for how addictive, absurd, and time-wasting it is.
The innocent “Click me” button just begs for attention. And once you start clicking, oh boy. We knew what we were getting into, and it wasn’t until 300-400 clicks later that we came up for air.
The work of programmer Neal Agarwal, the page has been described by The Atlantic as “The Worst Page on the Internet”, though we hardly find it that offensive.
It’s definitely a clever and silly concept, and it looks as though some people get truly hooked, spending multiple hours unlocking new features, as the stimulation clicks keep rising.
